Hopefully some of the promises will come true, hopefully some will not. As an Independent-minded soul, I didn't particularly care to see either of you in office, but we live with the choices that are made. You mentioned my particular pet peeve in your speech, and alluded to policy based on it..... Please sir, whatever you do, don't make laws based on "The Spectre of a Warming Planet", because the idea that Global Warming is caused by us (if it is even happening- we've been cooling since 94) is the biggest scam ever pushed upon the sometimes naive folks in this country. You are the first Black President, and you were sworn in at a time when your new home has been experiencing some of the coldest temperatures in history.Please use your time in office to tackle some of the REAL problems that face our country, not the MADE UP ones.
