Magnafux rocks...

I have a thing for Punk Rock... there are some good, talented bands out there like Bad Religion, the Misfits, and of course Henry Rollins, who actually have some decent musicians in the band. This band..I just had to give a listen. I found them on the website Conservativepunk.com . The band picture alone made it worth the effort to find out more about them...who doesn't appreciate musicians who can have fun. Musicians since the time of John Lennon have often taken themselves WAAAAYYY too seriously, and although many musicians DO actually have some decent insight into human nature, they forget what fun is (Greenday,Nirvana, REM.etc). Magnafux actually has some decent talent, a little bit to say, and obviously have fun doing it- I dug this video up called Miss America...Keep in mind, it is Punk Rock,so it'll be noisy, but all said, its a pretty catchy tune with a good singer and a memorable guitar riff....

How is it that suddenly the product below has suddenly become acceptable in American society?

You think this could be someway to desensitize us to the evils of Marxism? Guitar Generations....WOW

A sample of all three guitarists jamming at the end of the show. For those of you whol don't know who he is (that is a crime in itself), the one who sings is Richie Kotzen...George on the Right doing what George does best...ripping it up. The guy in the middle and FREAK OF NATURE is Paul Gilbert...I have seen everyone, and have never...NEVER seen anyone play the instrument as well as this guy..His mother must have had a difficult time at childbirth, what with the guitar he was obviously born with....
And what an entertaining guy as well...just Paul trying out a new song on the audience....and yes what a shredfest it is....

The rest of my pics were HORRIBLY out of focus, and both my camera, and camera phone died, so I am staying for the repeat show at the House of Blues Annaheim tonight with a fully charged camera... for a hopefully even better evening!
